Benefits of Training

Training in a martial art is not only a major endeavor but an incredibly rewarding experience. With the physical side of training, you gain strength, flexibility, and control of your body. But there is another side to martial arts that is the underlying purpose: the mental side. Martial arts aim to make you the best version of yourself. They test your willpower, create focus and dedication, and strive to make you the best version of yourself in all aspects.

As a student at the University, it's also a great way to meet people. We are always excited to share with new students, and we look forward to seeing new students walk through the door. The Hwa Rang Do community is a family that embraces each other with open arms.

Training in a martial art builds confidence and morals that you can apply to the rest of your life. Physical training is only a vehicle to teach you dedication and perseverance and to prepare you mentally.
